Crafts Class/Bed & Breakfast combination.

Offering a two-day glass art workshop, accommodations and home-cooked meals in a relaxing waterfront environment. We’ll encourage your creativity by working with you to design your glass art panel and select the glass that represents your vision. We guide you through the technical aspects to bring your idea to completion. You have an option to stay an extra day and explore the Chesapeake Bay area – a perfect opportunity for family, friends or couples to spend leisure time together.

Glass Art Classes

In a two-day class you will create an original design and transform it to glass, learning how to cut and grind glass, apply copper foil and solder. We will frame it for you so that it is structurally sound and ready to hang.

Zekiah Glass (aka Bob & Barney Harris) Opens its Doors in 1989

In the mid-80s, Barney had settled down to a fulfilling corporate position for a kitchen store chain based in Washington DC when the company declared bankruptcy and she found herself unemployed! Zekiah Glass was born as a part-time business, mainly for Bob’s glassblowing services. Barney had had a few residential stained glass commissions, and hadn’t previously had the time to focus on that aspect of the glass business...
